Adaptive Training and Pilates
The fitness industry is a multi-billion-dollar industry, but somehow, it still doesn't seem to have a space for every body. Too often, movement is treated as something we have to do to change our bodies, earn our food, or meet someone else's idea of what fitness should look like.
We see movement differently.
At Little Miss Sunshine Healing, we believe movement is a celebration of what your body can do. Whether you can move your whole body or only certain parts of it, movement can be meaningful, enjoyable, and beneficial. We believe health can exist at any size, ability, or age.
As a stroke survivor myself, I know firsthand how different movement can feel when your body doesn't work the way it used to. That's why our approach focuses on adaptive movement and Pilates—finding ways to work with your body rather than forcing your body to fit into a traditional fitness model.
Through virtual consultations, we'll look at your individual needs, goals, abilities, and challenges and work together to create a movement plan that feels realistic and enjoyable for you. We can explore adaptive Pilates, functional movement, mobility, strength, balance, and modifications that can make everyday movement feel a little easier.

You don't need to change your body to deserve movement. You don't need to move a certain way for it to count.
This is our Movement Revolution—moving because we can, because it feels good, and because our bodies deserve to be celebrated.
Ready to find movement that works for you? Let's create a plan together.
All sessions are currently offered virtually, making adaptive movement more accessible from the comfort of your own home.
